Academics

Ivy College of Business offers multiple MBA programs: full-time, concurrent, or executive. Many students point to the benefits of starting their MBA in their senior year as an undergrad at Iowa State, with one student explaining, “The concurrent program was a game changer for me. It allowed me to quickly get both degrees at a fraction of the cost.” Using a cohort system, the college groups three to four incoming students to take their core MBA classes together, with one student stating the college’s greatest strength is “the sense of community that is established in each cohort that goes through the MBA program.” Additionally, the program offers specialization in STEM fields, including business analytics, finance, and information systems. MBA students can also earn double degrees by adding a second master’s from ten specific business areas.

Students at Ivy College of Business are impressed by the support from the administration and experience of the professors. “They keep us engaged in the latest business trends…helping to clearly understand the application of business concepts in the real world.” In addition, professors are easy to communicate with and willing to help when needed. Students highlight the individualized attention from faculty and administration as “extremely accommodating when it comes to different students’s needs.” Another student noted, “Each faculty member is amazing. They take interest in your success and tailor their help so that you have a positive experience.”
