Location
Emmanuel offers the best of both worlds: a beautiful campus nestled in the heart of a vibrant, evolving city. Located at 400 The Fenway, our campus is situated on 17 acres of inspiration, providing a peaceful quad for reflection and collaboration. This environment stands in contrast yet complements the bustling energy surrounding us. The location offers a vital blend of the traditional and innovative, urban and urbane, making it the ideal setting for intellectual growth.
Emmanuel's location positions us at the intersection of education, science, culture, business, medicine, and technology. Situated in the Longwood Medical and Academic Area, Emmanuel neighbors renowned institutions, hospitals, research centers, and cultural landmarks. This proximity to key Boston industries ensures our students don't just learn in the classroom — they have access to world-class research, experiential learning, and internship opportunities that transform theory into practice.
Emmanuel maintains a close-knit, supportive campus community, fostering connections that span across academic disciplines and experiences. Whether you're exploring the city's historical sites or participating in innovative projects, our setting ensures that the pulse of Boston is at your fingertips, fueling your education and your personal growth.
Campus Facilities & Equipment
Emmanuel offers state-of-the-art facilities designed to enhance both academic and co-curricular experiences. The Maureen Murphy Wilkens Science Center is a hub of discovery, providing students with advanced laboratories, modern research spaces, and innovative technology to support studies in biology, chemistry, and neuroscience. In the Art Department, you have access to studios for drawing, 2D and 3D design, ceramics, printmaking, photography, painting, and digital media, fostering creativity and artistic expression across various media.
For those pursuing careers in healthcare, our nursing labs are equipped with high-fidelity simulation mannequins and medical equipment, allowing you to practice hands-on skills in a controlled, real-world environment. These labs provide vital preparation for clinical placements in the Longwood Medical Area, just steps away from campus.
Athletic facilities are equally impressive, with Clemente Field serving as home field for Saints softball and men's and women's soccer and lacrosse teams, and as the practice facility for men's and women's track and field, as well as Colleges of the Fenway intramurals, and recreation. The Jean Yawkey Center (JYC) Gymnasium is central for practice and competition for men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams. With bleacher seating for up to 1,400, game nights in the gym become the place to be for ECSuperfans.
Off-Campus Opportunities
Emmanuel offers exceptional off-campus opportunities through a robust internship program that seamlessly blends hands-on experience with academic learning. Our students intern with, and later work at, leading companies and institutions in healthcare, medicine, finance, and other dynamic fields. Many students gain practical experience at hospitals, biotech firms, financial institutions, and nonprofit organizations throughout the city. With dedicated support from faculty and the McCafferty Career Center, you will find internships, practica and clinicals that align with your career aspirations, ensuring you graduate with valuable experience and a strong professional network.
Emmanuel's Boston location offers not only academic and professional opportunities but also access to entertainment, sports, arts, and culture right in the Fenway neighborhood. Students are just steps away from Fenway Park, home to the Boston Red Sox, and some of the city's top cultural institutions like the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. The vibrant Fenway area is also known for its music venues, restaurants, and theaters, ensuring that there's always something to explore beyond campus.
