NYFA's film school has two facilities in Manhattan: our headquarters overlooking Union Square Park in the historic Tammany Hall building on Park Avenue, and our new facility located in the heart of SoHo at Prince Street and Broadway. The Academy's film school and acting school are easily accessible to the rest of the city.
Our Universal Studios location sprawls over 390 acres of offices, alleys, interior sound stages, and outside movie sets.
Arrangements have been made with Universal Studios to shoot our in-class production exercises on their prestigious and widely-used backlot, a landscape literally made up of the neighborhoods of the world.
The New York Film Academy is proud to announce the opening of its newest branch campus in Madrid, Spain. The Academy in Madrid is located in the headquarters of “Mundo Ficcion," the film and television production unit of the media giant "El Mundo". Located in one of the most popular areas of Madrid, the famous Prosperidad neighborhood, the school is in walking distance to a variety of stores, restaurants, bars and cafes. Students can visit the “Berlin Park” or walk along one of the longest streets of Madrid, the “Lopez de Hoyos” street. They can practice their favorite sports, enjoy a swim in a pool, play tennis, or simply sunbathe at the “Polideportivo Pradillo," an arena located directly in front of the campus.
Students will benefit from the Academy's collaboration with El Mundo, as they will of the opportunity of learning and shooting in their state the of art film and television studios, at Torrejon de Ardoz.
