When I first started studying biological engineering, I discovered how truly passionate I feel about calculus and math in general. I always excelled in my classes, but sadly as I graduted, I realized that biological engineering was not the major I wanted to make my life about. I've never been afraid of starting over, so I decided to go back to university and, by the next semester, I will be starting to pursue a degree in computer science.

I Love Tutoring Because

tutoring has taught me a lot of new approaches and techniques to solve problems I wasn't aware of. I love tutoring because there's no better feeling than knowing the positive impact you are creating in students who are seeking for help, and they genuinely appreciate it. Tutoring has also helped me improve and keep up to date with all the necessary knowledge for my future courses!

David is my guardian Angel of Calculus and is always so patient and kind while explaining things to me. I often am incredibly intimidated when approaching the tutors because they know so much more about Calculus than I, that I am scared to sound stupid and upset them by saying something wrong and have had some talk down to me very negatively. However David has never done that always builds me up and really seems to care that I learn something or I understand what is going on rather than just yell at me till I figure it out. This small ounce of kindness is enough to keep me going week to week in what to me is objectively a challenging course.
