To be eligible for admission, a bachelor’s degree is required in almost all circumstances. Requirements include two courses in English. The MCAT is also required, and must be taken prior to the application deadline, which is normally November 15. Transcripts and letters of reference must be submitted by November 29. Interviews are required of some candidates. The majority of places in each class are reserved for applicants who are residents of Newfoundland and Labrador. There are a limited number of places available for applicants from New Brunswick, from other Canadian provinces, and non-Canadians. Non-Canadians pay higher fees.
