One year each of: Biology with labs General Chemistry Organic Chemistry with labs Physics with lab One quarter or one semester each of: Biochemistry and any area of Anatomy are required. Courses in writing/speech, social sciences, humanities and diversity/ethics are recommended. To receive consideration for the current application cycle, applicants must submit the AMCAS application, Ohio State secondary application, MCAT scores, and reference letters. All applicants are required to take the MCAT within three years of their application. The last month to take the MCAT is September for the year prior to intended matriculation. Although the MCAT is offered in January, first-time takers’ scores will be received too late for consideration for that year’s entering class. Consideration will be given to applicants who have interview dates and elect to repeat the January test in an effort to improve previous scores.
