Two semesters in physics, two semesters in the biological sciences, and four semesters in chemistry including organic chemistry and biochemistry are required It is strongly recommended that all science courses should include associated labs. The MCAT is required, and scores should be from within the past two years. For applicants who have taken the exam more than once, the most recent set of scores is weighed most heavily. Courses in Cell Biology, Genetics, Statistics, Psychology, and Sociology are strongly recommended.
