Academics

The Crummer Graduate School of Business offers three MBA programs which each cater to professionals at different stages in their career. The Executive MBA meets only on Saturdays and is designed for midto senior-level professionals, while the other two options draw individuals with less than a decade of work experience. The Early Advantage program draws recent college grads looking to get a head start on their career, while the Professional MBAs work during the day and then take evening classes two nights a week. Knowing that most people are working and busy, “everybody in the administration is always available to you” and the “students are truly the customers.” “Everybody knows your name. We see the dean everywhere and he always participates in activities with us,” says a student.

Professors are top notch, bringing “a wealth of real world experience to the classroom.” They “represent a wide range of cultures, industry experience, and research expertise in different fields,” and “repeatedly publish in renowned journals.” The curriculum is “very methodical,” and follows an order of classes that build on each other, preparing you for the next courses. “We are thoroughly trained, challenged everyday, [and] exposed to reallife situations,” says a student. “They understand what we are wanting to do upon graduation and are very helpful to teach us the tools to apply our knowledge in the business world.” Due to the small size of the school there are somewhat “limited class offerings, and some of the niche classes do no occur due to limited registrations.”
