The students at Wabash College, an all-male institution, feel it excels at “preparing young men for life, whether it is post-grad…[or] being a good person and man in society;” the school “is truly a place that is going to take you and turn you into the best version of yourself.” The coursework here is “very hard but rewarding,” and buoyed by small class sizes, which allow for maximum engagement. Students are pushed “out of [their] comfort zone through presentations, speeches, teaching [their] own class/peers, and reading challenging literature.” Indeed, professors are almost “more of a facilitator…rather than a lecturer.” They’re also “very passionate and helpful” and clearly “invested in the education and the overall success of the students, no matter the circumstances.” Additionally, undergrads rush to highlight Wabash’s numerous immersion opportunities “that take you traveling to other parts of the world.” As one student enthuses about an immersion trip in Costa Rica, “I was exposed to aspects of their culture and language, truly an experience I will never forget.” And, when it comes time to consider their post-collegiate life, undergrads can easily tap into an extensive alumni network. “Any Wabash alum will drop what they’re doing professionally to have a conversation with you, whether that’s over the phone, in person, or on campus. The brotherhood is never-ending.”
