This tutor was absolutely amazing. They were clear in their explanations and were not patronizing at all. Their explanation made sense and helped me get through challenging problems. They did not give me the answer, but guided me through the problem, which helped me to grow. They even taught me new and helpful ways to do the problem, so I could do it well in the future. For some reason the tutor thought I was being disrespectful and wanted to end my session. Not sure why but math is my hardest subject to learn and it was disconcerting to me to have that reaction. I did not say anything in my opinion to be disrespectful but I did apologize and he did help in the end. I was super confused about that interaction.

I think my tutor really did a good job of explaining to me how to factor a quadratic trinomial without giving me the answers right away. I also appericiated that they asked me to explain how I got certain numbers like how I got a 7 and a 3 using the X Box method and why I was using it. By teaching me like this I think it made me pay attention more of why certain steps are essential and how they help me .

I love this service! I hope that this will be more mobile friendly in the future… I sometimes use my ipad instead of my computer, and the whiteboard feature when on my ipad somtimes isnt the best. When I use the pencil tool, the cooridnation is a bit off; when I draw on the board the line appears lower than where I am actually drawing. The screen also does not scroll down when I draw towards the botttom. Other than that, its great! Thanks!
