Career Experience
Since 2016, I've attended universities and conducted research in Cuba, Argentina, and Brazil. In particular, I worked as an assistant English teacher at a a non-profit English language school in Salvador, Brazil. During my graduate education, I also worked at an organization which provided free ELL and subject matter tutoring for DC area students from predominantly immigrant backgrounds. In this role, I provided trainings, resources, and tutoring to over 200 student leaders, tutors, volunteers, and program tutees. I now provide online tutoring and consulting services in Spanish, test preparation, business communication, reading comprehension, writing and more. I look forward to working with you.
I Love Tutoring Because
What is the greatest test of how well you understand a subject? How well you can teach it to someone else, that's what! I've been a tutor since I was in grade school. l love teaching and mentoring others, but most of all I love the challenge of sharing knowledge and helping someone truly master a concept. I've tutored in foreign languages, different countries, and with so many interesting people. There's always more for me to learn from my tutees so...let's sharpen our blades together!
