Career Experience
I’m a retired English teacher with 25 years of teaching experience. I have taught students from 9th grade through college. I've worked with a range of students including those learning English as a second language and those who have come back to college later in life. I have also taught English and American literature and AP literature. My 14 years of work in corporate management helps me tutor in Career Help.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love working with the students. I’m impressed by their eagerness to learn, their determination, their receptiveness to suggestions, and their good humor! I also love the variety and the chance to keep on learning myself. I never know what the next student is going to teach me! And, of course, the best part is when a student says, "Yes! I understand this now!"
