Hello, my name is Zenia and I am super excited to be able to work and learn with you! A little bit about myself: I am a recent college graduate. I am now a nurse working in the emergency department. I absolutely love helping as many people as I can in any form possible. Seeing individuals grow academically, individually, and healthy is my goal! In the near future, I plan to go back to school and get my Associate of Applied Science Degree in Sign Language/ Interpreter Preparation and my Master of Science degree in Nursing Education.
I Love Tutoring Because
being able to tutor such amazing individuals brings me so much joy, as I am able to see their views and opinions about life/subjects. When I graduated high school, I was a straight-A student. Entering college was a whole different environment, and I realized I needed help in certain subjects; that is when tutoring came into my life. All the tutors I worked with have been such an influence and helped me get to where I needed to be. That being said, I knew I wanted to be a tutor myself. I wanted to make a difference in an individual's life and let them know it is okay to ask for help. We all grow different academically, and getting the help we need can make a difference in how we perform in the world. One of my favorite quotes is from Nelson Mandela: "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." It would be my honor to be your tutor to help you make a difference/change in the world.
