Career Experience
I have worked as a research assistant in psychology-based research labs for the past five years while earning my university degree (BSc in psychology and biology), and have tutored students on the side. I tutored several students in statistics (both classmates and students younger than myself) during my time in university. Prior to this, I had tutored students in French in high school. During university I also worked as a peer support individual through the university's Counselling Services, and worked with students needing mental health support, as well as with international students needing support learning English. Right now I work as a tutor for a number of subjects as well as an editor for individuals writing in English as a second language. I also am currently working on two psychology research papers which have recently been submitted for publication in peer reviewed journals.
I Love Tutoring Because
I believe that most subjects are easy (or at least possible) to understand when explained the correct way for an individual. I like being able to help someone understand a concept that they've been struggling with for a while simply by explaining it in a new way.
